(Orlando, FL) Dean Mead estate planning attorney Joseph Percopo has presented “Turning Straw Into Gold: The Alchemy of Tenants by the Entirety in Florida” to members of the Real Property, Probate & Trust Law (RPPTL) Section of The Florida Bar. The intent of the presentation was to support the knowledge base of members of RPPTL’s Estate and Trust Tax Planning and Asset Protection Committees.
The presentation discussed forms of property ownership in Florida, provided a deep dive into tenants by the entirety (or “TBE”), and presented case law which reviewed real property, bank accounts, and other personal property. The presentation can be reviewed in its entirety by clicking HERE.
