About Ryan P. Cook

Ryan focuses on estate planning, as well as probate and trust administration. This includes representing fiduciaries and beneficiaries in administration matters, and establishing comprehensive estate plans for high-net-worth clients. With a background in tax law, he helps clients navigate gift, estate, and fiduciary income taxes. His publications and practice address complex tax matters, as well as probate issues affecting lower-income Floridians.

Born in Palm Bay, Florida, Ryan grew up on Florida’s Space and Treasure Coasts. From 2012 to 2014, he served as a missionary in southwestern Russia. After receiving his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University—Idaho, Ryan received his Juris Doctorate, cum laude, and his Master of Laws in Taxation from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. During law school, Ryan served as the Chief Managing Editor of the Journal of Law and Public Policy. He also participated in UF’s Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic, representing clients in disputes with the IRS.

He continues to practice in Vero Beach, following his position with a regional firm. Ryan is active in the Treasure Coast community and is committed to serving the community’s range of legal needs.
