Our former colleague, Michelle Naberhaus, was sworn in as Brevard County Judge on Friday, January 20, 2017. Our firm hosted a reception to celebrate the momentous occasion for Judge Naberhaus immediately following her investiture ceremony. The event was held at the Brevard Zoo’s Nyami Nyami River Lodge with more than 140 people in attendance.
“Michelle embodies the true essence of those key characteristics that define a great leader – integrity, compassion, honor and authenticity,” said Marc Chapman, president of Dean Mead. “The Court shall benefit from her extensive experience and her extraordinary intellect.”
Prior to her role in public service, Naberhaus practiced as a civil litigation attorney in Brevard County for 17 years. She joined Dean Mead’s Trust & Estate Litigation practice in May, 2015.
As if she wasn’t already busy enough juggling a demanding law practice and family responsibilities, she worked tirelessly on behalf of the legal profession and the community serving in leadership roles for The Florida Bar, the Brevard County Bar Association, the Florida Association for Women Lawyers, The Haven for Children, Brevard Cultural Alliance, the Guardian Ad Litem Program, the Women’s Business Center at FIT, and numerous other organizations.
