(Orlando, FL) Dennis G. Corrick, Shareholder and Attorney with Dean Mead, has officially announced his retirement after an illustrious career spanning nearly 27 years in the legal field. Widely respected for his exceptional contributions and unwavering dedication, Dennis has built a legacy through his efforts in addressing the issues facing owners of agricultural land and commercial properties throughout Florida’s Treasure Coast.
“It has been a privilege to serve as a counselor, advocate, and advisor to so many over the years”, shares Dennis. “My years at Dean Mead have provided me the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of my clients and in the Treasure Coast community. As I retire, I am filled with gratitude for the incredible journey and the trust placed in me by my clients, colleagues, and mentors. I look forward to this new chapter, but I will always carry with me the lessons, relationships, and experiences from my time working with clients.”
Notably, Dennis has helped develop new tools for preserving rural lands, including advising St. Lucie County on its Land Development Code for rural lands, addressing decades-old title issues to allow land to be placed in conservation, and assisting landowners with negotiating leases with power providers for solar power generation.
Lee Dobbins, Managing Shareholder of Dean Mead’s Fort Pierce Office, shares, “after decades of dedicated service to law, Dennis has left a lasting mark. As he retires, our firm celebrates his legacy of professionalism, knowledge, and public service, and his commitment to the law and the Treasure Coast community.”
Dennis’ career has been marked by numerous accolades for his civic contributions, including receiving the 2015 Kathryn Basile Champion for Children Award from the Children’s Services Council of St. Lucie County and then 2004-2005 Community Impact Award from the United Way of St. Lucie County. He helped lead the successful campaign for the permanent authorization of the St. Lucie County Children’s Services Council and served a term on that council as a gubernatorial appointee. He is recognized throughout St. Lucie County for his community activism and his impact will continue to be felt for years to come.
“We wish Dennis all the best in his retirement,” shares Marc Chapman, President and Shareholder of Dean Mead. “His legacy will continue to inspire and influence our firm, and we are grateful for everything he has accomplished at Dean Mead and for his exceptional service to our clients.”
