Dean German Presents Community Portrait to Bob Mead

We all enjoyed a special celebration with Dr. Deborah German, Dean of the UCF College of Medicine, who visited our Orlando office on Monday. She presented Bob Mead with a community portrait commemorating the firm’s commitment to education. Dean Mead established the first endowed scholarship at the University of Central Florida’s College of Medicine. The scholarship honors Bob Mead, a founding member of the firm and a long-standing legal advocate to Central Florida’s medical community. The “Robert W. Mead, Jr. Scholarship Presented by Dean Mead” is awarded in perpetuity to top medical students at UCF’s College of Medicine. Dr. German was joined by Chip Roberts and Carlee Thomas of the UCF College of Medicine.

The scholarship is a fitting tribute to Bob, who has had a remarkable impact on Central Florida’s medical community over the last 50 years of his career. Bob represents physicians and medical entities in business law matters, including employment agreements, buy-sell agreements, negotiation of hospital contacts and related agreements involving physicians and healthcare relationships and employee benefits/retirement plans. He has been recognized as an Outstanding Corporate and Employee Benefits Attorney by The Best Lawyers in America© since it commenced publication in 1986.
