Dean Mead Relocates Orlando Office To CNL Tower II

ORLANDO, Fla. – Dean, Mead, Egerton, Bloodworth, Capouano & Bozarth, P.A. (Dean Mead) announced today that the firm relocated its Orlando office to CNL Tower II in the heart of the downtown district. It’s an historic move for the Orlando-based law firm that was founded in 1980 and previously maintained its local office at the same address for more than 27 years in the Wells Fargo building on Magnolia Avenue.

Dean Mead occupies the entire seventh floor of the CNL Tower II building. At nearly 24,000 square feet, the new space is large enough to enable all attorneys and staff to work on the same floor. It is designed to enhance collaboration among the attorneys, as well as provide a workspace that seamlessly integrates high performance technology with a multidisciplinary approach to practice consultation. Clients and visitors will experience innovative features throughout the office such as videoconferencing, SMART boards, large flatscreen displays and WiFi. Additionally, the firm’s new conference center is equipped to offer the latest in presentation technology for seminars, as well as traditional services so that meetings, closings, mediations and other proceedings can occur comfortably and efficiently.

The Stephen T. Dean Board Room is a focal point of the new office with beautiful views of Orlando City Hall and the Dr. Phillips Center for Performing Arts.  Named for one of the firm’s founders, the board room characterizes a unique blend of the firm’s rich history with the next generation of law firm leaders. Highlights include contemporary furnishings, state-of-the-art technology, and floor to ceiling windows that allow the natural light to illuminate the space.

“It was important to us to honor Mr. Dean’s legacy in this manner,” said Marc D. Chapman, president of the firm. “Mr. Dean’s core philosophy was for our lawyers to become a part of the fabric of the communities we serve, and we’ve always remained committed to giving back. Our new location in the heart of downtown Orlando keeps us grounded in his vision.”

Client confidentiality and cybersecurity is the top priority for everyone working at Dean Mead. The new office space incorporates strict security measures designed with clients’ protection in mind. For example, visitors may only gain access to the seventh floor after receiving clearance from the security guard on the main level of the building. Physical files are stored in secure locations in the office and are restricted to attorneys and staff who have key cards to enter those areas.

Office amenities include an employee break room and lounge area featuring cool, crisp colors to relax the mind and invigorate the senses.  There is a hospitality kitchen adjacent to the conference center for private events.

The firm’s office move planning committee conducted a series of meetings with attorneys and staff to gather feedback over the course of 18 months prior to deciding upon the new location. “One of the consistent themes we heard across the board was that our team members wanted to be a part of the downtown hub with its new and exciting amenities and features, and where we could enhance our connections with the business community,” said Vicki Berman, Shareholder in the firm’s Real Estate department and chairperson of the planning committee.

Dean Mead’s new location places clients, attorneys and staff in the center of Orlando’s vibrant area with close proximity to popular restaurants, shopping, premier hotel accommodations, cultural events and sporting venues. Additionally, easy access is available from I-4, the East-West Expressway and through public transportation options such as LYNX and SunRail.
