Jane Dunlap Callahan Elected to Christian Service Center’s Board of Directors

Orlando, Fla. – Jane Dunlap Callahan – a shareholder of the Orlando-based law firm of Dean, Mead, Egerton, Bloodworth, Capouano & Bozarth, P.A. – was recently appointed to the Christian Service Center (CSC) for Central Florida’s board of directors. Callahan will serve a three-year term with a two-term limit.

The CSC is a private nonprofit social service agency that has worked with area businesses and community organizations to combat poverty and homelessness, and promote self-sufficiency. Since 1971, the CSC has been helping people through programs designed to meet physical, emotional and spiritual needs.

CSC Executive Director Robert Stuart said, “I am thrilled to have Jane Callahan join the board of directors. She brings a unique skill set because of her nonprofit legal background, along with her devotion to the community.”

Callahan has more than 25 years of experience as a tax attorney. She represents taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service to resolve tax issues at the audit and administrative appeals level, and represents taxpayers in the U.S. Tax Court and other federal courts. Callahan also represents a wide range of charities and other tax-exempt organizations, from their inception to handling tax and corporate issues.

Callahan received her law degree in 1987 from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and her undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University in 1984. In 1988, she also earned a master of laws degree in taxation from the University of Florida Levin College of Law.
