Kim Novak Joins Dean Mead as Executive Director

Orlando, Fla. – Dean, Mead, Egerton, Bloodworth, Capouano & Bozarth, P.A. announced that Kim Novak has re-joined the firm as executive director based in the Orlando office. In her new role, Novak is responsible for leading the administrative team and overseeing the regional, multi-faceted operations of the law firm. Novak formerly served as Dean Mead’s human resources director in 2006-2007.

For the past five years, Novak was the administrator of Akerman’s Orlando office. She brings a wealth of knowledge in strategic planning, human resources, employee benefits and process improvement. Novak is active in a number of professional organizations including the Central Florida Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators, International Association of Legal Administrators, and Society for Human Resource Management.

Novak earned her M.A. degree in Human Resources Management from Ottawa University and her B.S. degree in Criminal Justice from Washburn University.
