Lauren Detzel Receives John Arthur Jones Service Award

Lauren Detzel, Chair of Dean Mead’s Estate and Succession Planning department, received the John Arthur Jones Annual Service Award from The Florida Bar’s Real Property, Probate and Trust Law (RPPTL) Section on June 2, 2017. Detzel was recognized for her dedication and outstanding service to the Section.

The Real Property, Probate & Trust Law Section of The Florida Bar presents an “ANNUAL SERVICE AWARD” to a Section member who has rendered dedicated and significantly outstanding service to the Section, and its varied programs, throughout the current year. In selecting the recipient of this annual award, the Section considers both the character and magnitude of the service furnished by the nominee throughout the year, and particular emphasis is given to the benefits which accrue to the Section and the lawyers of Florida as a result of such service. John Arthur Jones, past chair of the Section, embodies the outstanding service recognized by this Award and continues to be active in the Section’s committees and Executive Council. The name “John Arthur Jones” is synonymous with the term “Section Service.”
