Marc Dunbar Reappointed to Citizens Property Insurance Corporation Board of Governors

Dean Mead is pleased to announce that Marc Dunbar has been reappointed by Jimmy Patronis, Florida’s Chief Financial Officer, to serve as a member of the Citizens Property Insurance Corporation Board of Governors. His term is effective immediately and will run through July 31, 2022.

Dunbar focuses his practice on governmental relations and legislative advocacy, commercial transactions and gaming. He has more than 20 years of experience, and he advises a wide range of clients, with particular emphasis on businesses in highly regulated industries. He handles legal matters and provides lobbying representation for a broad range of regulated industries, including motor vehicle manufacturing and dealerships, gaming, tobacco, alcohol, healthcare services and providers, and medical cannabis.

Created by the Florida Legislature in August 2002, Citizens Property Insurance Corporation is a nonprofit, tax-exempt, government entity providing insurance protection to Florida policyholders who are entitled to, but are unable to, find property insurance coverage in the private market.
