Agritourism

As consumer interest in learning about local farming has increased so have opportunities for farms to start an agritourism business to increase revenues. This may include u-pick operations or hosting events, such as weddings or dinners.

Florida Statute 570.86 defines an agritourism activity as “any agricultural related activity consistent with a bona fide farm or ranch or in a working forest which allows members of the general public to view or enjoy activities related to farming, ranching, historical, cultural or harvest-your-own attractions for recreational, entertainment or educational purposes.” Our attorneys have a clear understanding of the regulations guiding an agritourism business, having a first-hand understanding of the daily processes and needs of farmers throughout Florida.
