Representing Clients Across Varied Industries in all Licensing Matters
In Florida, most professional occupations are governed by a board or agency that credentials and disciplines qualified individuals in their particular field of specialization. At Dean Mead, our attorneys represent clients across a wide range of professional boards concerning licensing standards/renewals, disciplinary matters, investigations, probable cause panels, and hearings. A complaint lobbied against a licensee, in any profession, is a serious matter and needs to be proactively addressed—your reputation and livelihood are on the line. We pride ourselves on understanding the intricacies of licensing standards across all board entities and strive to expedite, minimize, and resolve any hurdles that arise for your licensing needs.
Representation Before the Florida Bar
Disciplinary matters and complaints to the Florida Bar can have serious impact on an attorney and firm. We have extensive experience representing members of The Florida Bar in various cases, including disciplinary matters brought before the Supreme Court of Florida. A complaint received from a former client, a litigant, or others often begin with Bar counsel review. Response is critical in the stage prior to assignment of the matter for further investigation by the Bar to a Circuit grievance committee. Our Bar disciplinary counsel includes a former circuit grievance committee chair and appellate counsel with substantial experience in the Florida Supreme Court.
Dean Mead attorneys have represented clients before the following boards:
“Your professional license is a vital aspect of your reputation, livelihood, and career,” said Daniel R. Russell Shareholder and Chair of the firm’s Professional Licensing Practice. “It’s imperative to have experienced representation in licensing matters to ensure your business and livelihood are protected.”
